PCI compliance fee

On a statement: PCI COMPLIANCE PROGRAM

PCI is the card industry's security standard, and processors are required to help merchants stay compliant. This fee is meant to cover that program — an annual questionnaire, sometimes a network scan. It is a real service, but the price varies enormously and it should never be charged alongside a non-compliance penalty in the same month.

What a fair version looks like

$0–$15 a month, or $60–$120 a year. Some processors include it at no charge.

What 321 Swipe would do

We make sure you're actually enrolled and compliant (which also removes the non-compliance penalty), then negotiate the program fee down.

Send it and we'll tell you — along with everything else on there that shouldn't be. A phone photo of the fee page is enough.
